Val,

I am praying for the source of your pain to be determined by the MD's at Palomar. I pray that you are out of pain today.

May God lift you up and wrap his gentle arms around you and relieve you of this pain.

Love,

Marianne

Oh Lord...we lift Val up to you along with her whole family! Father, please bring relief to your daughter Val...take her pain away! Lord...all of our "human minds" are crying out "why"!!! We know we cannot see Your beautiful, perfect plan, but we BELIEVE Lord...only good and perfect things come from You!!! Please hold Val right this minute and whisper to her those very words! We love you Lord...we lay our dear, dear friend and sister at your feet...along with Chris and the boys, Nancy and Richard, Julie, Val's brothers...and we ask for comfort and peace and NO PAIN!!!

Psalm 23 (NIV)

A psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever

This is the Psalm that we are studying at our Life-Group. As I was reading it, it became so clear that the Lord is with us all the time throughout our lives. He leads us, He is with us through our dark times, and He follows us with His goodness and love. He surrounds us, and He is surrounding Val right now...

Oh, Lord, I pray that Val would feel your loving presence surrounding her at this very moment, comfort her Lord as she is walking through this dark vally. Help her to see the light at the end of this tunnel; Carry her, strenghten her and bless her until her cup runs over, Lord. Comfort her family and fill them with your peace.. Please heal our precious sister... In your name, sweet Jesus.

I love you Val!!!
