Friends are a gift

I was having a tough day today when I ran into a friend from Ryan's school named Osil. She said she had taken all the songs that had been mentioned on the blog and down loaded them from the intranet onto a CD. What a incredible gift. After dropping Ryan and Gavin off at Connections practice, I put the CD in and listened to it in my car. All those awesome words we have all been reading I now was listening to. Of course crying but mostly worshiping. It gave me the lift I needed. It was a remimder to me that God is always with me even on days where I am sad and I do not see Him.
He is faithful even in the little things and I know he will continue to be with me in this journey.

Val,
What a lovely gift from a lovely friend. Osil writes such beautiful messages to you. I believe she and Kerry came into your life at this time to give you strength when you are feeling down and joy to share when you are feeling better. And Mary who cares about you so much with all of her little notes to inspire you! I wish I could be there for you live and in person.
I would remind you to stay your course and in the midst of this storm weather it out. You will have bad days however they will not last. The sun will rise and you will feel better.
I promise to come visit you after my wedding. I will bring you lots of pictures and something from the islands.

I am as always your friend,

Marianne

Valerie,

It has been far too long that we have seen one another. Though our lives have been on different courses I think of you often. I miss you my friend and look forward to seeing you in person soon.

Over the weekend I pulled out old pictures of us, there are so many great memories of times we shared. I still have the old, old photo from when we first met just out of high school. The funny clothes and hairstyles, that was almost 20 years ago. Our trips to the river learning to water-ski, camping, weekends with the girls in Vegas, your wedding, and so many more...I will bring the photos when we get together so we can share some good times and good laughs. Everytime we get together it is was if no time had passed, though now years have passed and we have so much to catch up on. I am praying for you everyday.

I hope today is a good day - you are surrounded by so much love. I have learned so much reading your blog each day. The energy and love is so great, you are blessed by so many wonderful people.

With love & friendship,

Amy V.

Val...
First...THANK YOU so much for having Kendall and I over to your home last night...on a difficult night for me...you opened up your heart and home! You have NO idea how much you help me! And once again, in the midst of your battle...you reached out so unselfishly to us...and eased our pain. Oh how I wish to do the same for you!
There were many tears shed the past few days...and in perfect timing...Osil graciously shared something amazing with us! Just another example of our Lord working through her to send us the message of "I am here with you always". Doesn't HE work in such amazing ways??? ALWAYS when you feel a bit doubtful or low...He shines through someone or something to gently nudge us... to bring our eyes back upon the truth we all know, but sometimes don't see...He walks with us always.
My dear friend...I ask you...cast your burdens to our Lord...the tears may fall and weary you may feel...but we are being "nudged" to turn our hearts and eyes to Him...and through Him...you Val, can do anything!
Cast Your Burdens
Daugher, why do you worry?
Remember who I am
I am the One who made the universe
I hold it in My hand

There is no situation that I cannot control
If you will let me have it
My faithfulness I’ll show

Cast your burdens to My feet
Come kneel before My throne
Let Me have your worries
Let your burdens be My own

I am the God who loves you
I am the One who heals all wounds
The Great Powerful Physician,
Is who I’ll be for you

Don’t take your anger to another
But bring it all to Me
My peace I’ll always give you
If My commandments you will keep

I love you My dear Daughter
Please put your faith in Me
I promise answers to your prayers
If you will just believe

Enter My courts with praises
Singing thanks in all life brings
I linger in the praises
That to Me My children sing

Come in the name of Jesus
And ask Me what you will
Then watch Me keep My promises
And let your spirit then be still

In constant prayer...
All our Love,
Kerry Randall
