Preliminary CT Results

This is a picture of Dawn taken at the beach in Encinitas. She has been a huge asset as a Nanny for Chris and Val. She is great with the kids and has become an important part of the family.

I received a phone call yesterday from Taleen Khoukaz, Dr. Lenz' Nurse Practitioner. Her short message; a slight decrease was observed in nodule size in the CT done last week when compared to the scan done 8 weeks earlier.

We are filled with joy and so thankful for your prayers, beloved. The complete Pathology Report and CA19-9 Tumor Marker result is yet to be received, but this is another victory in the battle against our adversary.

Val, Deanna, and Ryan finished their consultation at The Brock Institute in Chicago and are due back in San Diego later tonight.

Chris has been a real trooper balancing work and chasing after the two terrorists, Gavin and Tyler, while Val has been gone. Great job Chris!

And now unto Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever. Amen.

Val-
I enjoy seeing the pictures of your wonderful family. I am sure you are very encouraged at the test results and feeling God's healing in you. I am encouraged at your faith and your continued strength through all of this. You are truly a strong woman of God and an example for us all. May God continue to bless you and keep you.

Praise Jesus! I had a good feeling about this scan, I know you did too! That is so awesome! I just know He is gonna heal you, Val, it might not be a miracoulous instantanious thing, He might be doing it little by little, a series of miracles... I know He is working through you mightily, and when His time is right He will remove this thorn from your side. Our confidence is in Him, the author and creator of life, in Him who can do all things... I miss you! Hope we get to get together with Marianne over the weekend, she is so awesome..
Love ya and praising the Lord!

WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Thank you, thank you Lord! I think we all had a good feeling about this...and that good feeling proved true thanks to our Father!!!

And as much as we would all LOVE to have a complete healing this very minute...I just can't help but believe that, just like Osil said, through this series of miracles we will be able to see His glory over and over and over again!!! My grandfather used to ALWAYS say that a "slow and steady course" will always be a victory...and it seems like God thinks so too...

So Val, Chris, Nancy and Richard...you are winning this...slow and steady...keep your heads up!!! God bless you always!!!

All my love,
Kerry Randall

Valerie-
I haven't spoken to you in so long! Maybe it was our ten-year high school reunion? I tried to make it to our 20th, but we had a family vacation scheduled before I knew about the reunion. Anyway, I just want you to know that I'm praying for you! I have been brought to tears reading your blog. God has truly blessed you with 3 beautiful sons and a great husband. It has been so encouraging to me, as a mom, to read about your determination and strength. You truly know the Lord and have allowed Christ to fill you with His Spirit. What a godly woman you are! Thank you for sharing your experiences with family and friends (even old ones!) because you may not realize it, but you are a light to those who read this blog! This trial you're going through will not go to waste. Glory is going to our Lord above. Valerie, I have so many great memories of our cheerleading days. I will continue to pray for your complete recovery.
Love- Christina Karen (Miller)
