By His Stripes We Are Healed

Today is Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement. In the Jewish calendar, today is the 10th Day of Tishri, in the year 5767. In Leviticus 23:26, God commanded Moses to set this day aside as the day when atonement is made for you before The Lord Your God.

In Isaiah 1:18, God Most High speaks to us through the Prophet Isaiah, "Come now, let us reason together, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;" In Isaiah 53:5, the Prophet sees into the future and predicts an event as though it had already happened; "He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed." Peter identifies this person as Jesus in 1 Peter 2:21-25.

The christian's roots go deep into Judaism. We are called children of Abraham, heirs of the promise. Our names are written in The Book of Life. They are sealed with the blood of Jesus. They cannot be removed by death or life, angels or principalities, things present or things to come.

One of my favorite Hymns is a Hebrew song of praise;

El Shaddai, El Shaddai, El-Elyon na Adonia, Age to age You're still the same, By the power of the name.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai, Erkamka na Adonai, We will praise and lift You high, El Shaddai.

It is good to remember Yom Kippur because God established it as a sign of things to come. As were our forefathers, we are time travelers on a journey. And all roads lead to The Holy City, The New Jerusalem.

Rejoice beloved. The journey is long and the perils are great. But every day God Most High sees your faith and hears your prayers. He rejoices as you honor Him in your manner of living. And he will wipe away every tear.

This is an off week for Val on chemo treatment.

Godspeed

My mothers sister had cancer of the spine. She used marajuana therapy for about a year. At the time, our family struggled with the moral issues but ultimately decided upon its use. It gave her considerable releif from pain, without side effects and also served to increase her appetite at times. Much peace, love and comfort to all of you.

Hi Val,
......From Kelli & Dan's friend Michelle...accupuncture may work well, have you tried it? My mom suffers from chronic pain and it gives her relief. Also, what about "gentle" massage for relaxation. I can refer a good person who will come to your home, just let Kelli know and I will pass it along. The pressure points in the feet also should be considered (foot reflexology) God Bless you, I'm seeing you healthy and happy always. In his love, M

Being in the medical profession, I have had many patients who used medical marijuana therapy for various illnesses. I noticed that medical marijuana helped increase their appetites, while decreasing their pain levels without the side effects of pain killers.

No one can judge unless they have walked in your shoes.

Much love, and peace to all.
