Back To The Future

God Most High and His Beloved Son Jesus have always existed with God The Holy Spirit. At some point, before the creation of the Universe, Jesus created an untold host of angels. Like us, they were free to worship God or to turn their back on Him. Isaiah 14:12 tells us that some chose themselves above God and were cast down to the Earth.

Then Valerie came into God's mind. Before he created the Universe, He knew her. He looked down the tunnel of time and chose her. On October 23rd, 1968 He presented her as a gift to her mom and I. In the fullness of time, He called her. He forgave her. He set her apart. He empowers her. He enlightens her. He glorified her.

For 38 years, she has been a light in our life. We count it a high privilege to know her. She is a child of God Most High.

His ways are not my ways. I wish they were. But I will trust Him. I will always trust Him.

Val is doing well this morning. She continues to eat and drink. She is breathing well. She is pretty much pain free without a lot of medication. She continues to take Cipro, an antibiotic prescribed by Dr. Lo. Her stomach distension is a bit less today. Her bowel movements are good. As I write, she is sitting in the California sunshine watching the kids on the trampoline. I love California!

Please pray that Val's liver function improves and that the signs of circulation problems in her feet go away. In spite of all the "seen" symptoms that point to her leaving us soon, I continue to see the "unseen" power of God Most High. When we least expect, He can intervene.

May His name be praised forever

Precious Val and Chris (and your beloved families),

Please know your lives are touching so many and influencing us to draw closer to the Lord, to appreciate family ties and family time spent enjoying and loving each other, and to trust God in all situations. You get the gold medal because you have all been through the Refiner's fire and are shining brightly.

Standing with thousands of others in prayer on behalf of your healing His way,
Much love,
Judy Biggs & family

Hi Val -

We saw Chris and Gavin at the baseball game this morning. Gavin's team, The Phillie's, played Brody's team, The Cardinal's. As I watched the kids play ball in the California sun, I thought how the TEAM could not function as a whole without all of the players. I spoke about you with Stephanie (Don's wife) who said she knows you from your sons going to kindergarden together. We talked about what an amazing TEAM you are on...you are with the best players in the league. You and your family, through this blog, inspire us all to cherish and love one another each moment of each day.

I also watched Gavin as he hit the ball, ran all of the bases and played outfield! You are in him. He is a part of you and I could see that as clearly as the sky was a blessed blue. Good game, Gavin!

I saw Chris, your kind husband who is always open and honest. It was good to see him out in the sun with Gavin and I believe it was your brother and brother in law? You shared the same sun with all of us today. It is a beautiful day for you, for your amazing family...may the sun continue to shine...

Our love and prayers are with you,
Terri & The Ensor Guys

Hey Valerie,
It's April,
I just read this in the bible.
And thought it was uplifting.
Acts 2:25
David said about him:
"I saw the Lord always before me,
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices:
my body also will live in hope,
because you will not abandon me to
the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see
decay.
You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your
presence.'

I love you Sister in Christ!!!!

Blessings Valerie,

So glad to hear you are outside watching your boys on this glorious day. My small daughter Elizabeth (5) said to me this morning as we were working in the yard, "God must be happy today mom" and I asked her why she had that thought, she answered "because everything outside is happy!" It is true, God must look at Valerie and be so pleased to see the stregnth and character she displays while in the midst of such anguish. You are a light Val. We pray, pray, pray for God to intervene. We pray, pray, pray for all the wonderful requests. God hear our prayers!
All of our Love to You and you family.

My daughter is in Ryans class in the 1st grade and she thinks the world of him and always includes"ryans mom " in all our prayers before bed. She told me that he prayers for her every day and i thought that was the greatest most sincere prayer when it is from a child. God loves a sincere heart. I will continue to prayer with my little girl for valarie. i dont know her personally but thats not whats important. what is important is i am also a believer and i believe he who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. jesus says you ARE healed , not you MIGHT be healed. Your faith has made you well. These are all things popping in my mind. if you ever need help with anything let me know we are all family in christ and will keep believing for you and so will lauren
