Philippians 2:12-13

Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my dear friends as you have always obeyed-not only in my presense, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Hey, Val! Hope you are having a good weekend, with plenty of rest, fun and time in the word. It is so true, His word is all we need for life, health and salvation. It is living, full of His spirit and sharper than any two-edged sword. I am so thankful for the verses shared on these pages, these verses that have come forth in this trying time. What a witness this blog is to believers and unbelievers alike. I've had this song by MercyMe on my mind for days and I wanted to share the lyrics with you:

I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay
The last thing I need is to be heard
But to hear what You would say

Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to see
Your majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak

I'm finding myself in the midst of You
Beyond the music, beyond the noise
All that I need is to be with You
And in the quiet hear Your voice

I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay

Sometimes we just need to be quiet and listen to Him, and just bathe in His presence. That's the most wonderful place to be, isn't it!

I am so excited about everything that is happening with the doctors and all, I can't wait to see what God has in store next! The battle is on and it belongs to the Lord! In the meantime I am praying that the pain would go away, and that you would feel great!
See you on Monday:):)
Love, Osil
