Val to Scripps La Jolla

As of 1:00 this afternoon (Friday) Val and Chris are on the way down to Scripps La Jolla Hospital. Because of "sludge" in her bile ducts the doctor told her to go to the ER if she becomes jaundiced - well since my dad's post this morning she has yellowed. This probably means she will need a surgical procedure called a stent. A stent is placed in the bilary duct to open the passage for bile to pass through and relieve the clog.

She will know more once she is checked in and evaluated, but please pray for her. Pray that if a stent is necessary that the procedure would go smoothly and Val would be comforted duing her stay at the hospital. Pray that she can return home quickly and her body will quickly adapt and be relieved. Pray for my parents and the McCrea kids this weekend. Above all pray for God's perfect peace, comfort and healing.

Many thanks, Julie

My dear Val;

I am praying without ceasing, and I will be until you are all better! Remember Chris' vision of our celebration party at her house... It WILL HAPPEN! I know it in my heart, God will see you through this. I questioned God after the healing service too why he hadn't just taken it from you there and then... the answer I get from Him through prayer is as your Dad said, He is healing little by little, so that more and more people will experience His mighty power and all glory will be given to Him through all this... Hang in there, REST IN JESUS, He is in control, and He loves you so so very much... Keep your chin up, my friend, and remember if it gets to heavy He will send His angels to hold it up for you... I pray the Lord's peace upon you and your family. You are my hero!

Jesus said, "PEace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. LEt not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" John 14:27

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God!" Psalm 20:7

Call me anytime day or night if you need anything, I am here for you!!!

Val,

You are heavy on my heart today.
I am comforted that you went to see the GI MD that did your colonoscopy at Scripps. He seemed very capable and extremely kind. He will give you good advice on how to proceed. I pray that if you need the stent placed that you have a quick recovery and that it is painless for you.
I think about you everyday and pray that your miracle will come. Day by day step by step you will get better Val. Please try to stay positive in this storm for it will disengage and you will have a better day.
When things seem discouraging remember that you are never alone. God is walking this journey with you every step of the way.
There is not a single day that goes by that someone who doesn't even know you asks me how you are. There are so many peoples lives that you have touched....especially mine.

God speed,

Marianne
