Coming Home!

Lamentations 3:22-23

Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed,
Because HIS compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is YOUR faithfulness.

I was thrilled when I got the call from my mom that Val was doing much better. One detail that I had not heard was that the doctors put a tube in Val's side to drain any excess Bile that might be present. It seems that this tube may have been the culprit for her post surgery pain because soon after they removed the tube today her pain disappeared. She ate regular food all day, and she has been walking around and slowing getting back to her old self. This is not to say she does not have days left to recover from surgery and that she needs to recover from two weeks in the hospital, but she is expected to go home tomorrow.

God is good. His faithfulness is great. We prayed for the pain to go..it did. We prayed for clear blood tests...they were. We prayed she could go home...looks like tomorrow. I could go on and on about His mercies and faithfulness.

Thank you for your continued prayers. You are all an amazing blessing to Valerie

We recognize, God, that you are directly answering our prayers. God, you are so good. Thank you for sparing Valerie from her unbearable pain this day. We know that everything that is good can only come from you, and that you long to relieve your children from pain. Thank you dear Father!

Val,

It's amazing how many people you have touched. I can't imagine how difficult this has been for you and your family, words cannot describe how it must feel to see you in so much pain. You're a fighter Val and with God all things are possible! We don't have all the answers but we know God loves you and is always there with you.

There were many times I would wake up in the middle of night and think about you and pray. It was hard not to be able to pick up the phone and hear your voice say "whats up"? I have missed you so much and can't wait to see you Val. I'm so thankful you're feeling better and I know it's important to get a lot of rest and regain your strength after going through so much! Take this time to allow your body to heal and love your family. I'm sure the boys have missed the light in your beautiful face!

I love you Val and I'm so thankful to God for answering our prayers and getting you home from the hospital. Now it's time for rest and healing.

Love,
Deanna
