"Mother's Day 2007"

We had a great day at Petco Park today as guests of Trevor Hoffman, the Padre's closing pitcher. Ryan was the announcer that said, "Play Ball!" We will post a video clip soon.

Val's life was a gift to us. It is with great joy that we can share a slideshow of her life. Please click on the link below and make sure you have your computer sound on.

Enjoy! From the Sloan and McCrea Family

What a beautiful video she seemed so full of love in the photos. It really showed what kind of a person and mother she was. Very touching. I am very proud of Ryan for the job he did at the Padres game Im sure his mom was smiling in heaven. What a tribute! I only hope that my family and friends love me as much as she is loved. it is obvious she was an extraordinary woman

WOW! That was amazing! I feel as if Val is right here, right now! Absolutely beautiful!

Val was ever present in our thoughts yesterday on Mother's Day. We looked for you guys in the box when we turned in the TV to check in on the Padres. She must have been sitting right there with you as the Padres won the game!

Happy Mother's Day Val!

Thanks for sharing! I thought of you all ALL day yesterday. I was at a resort quite near the one we spent last Memorial Day with Val and the family. I could feel her as if I was back there last year. I miss her so much!
I was stoked to hear how Trevor Hoffman blessed you guys! What a cool thing for Ryan to get to throw the first pitch and say "play ball"
Lots of Love to you all through this difficult time! I read this verse recently at church and thought I would like to share it with you:

"May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 15:13

Dear McCreas -

You are in my thoughts so often.

We will be in Denver this weekend and I thought I had Aunt Char's phone number. I can't find it, so I was wondering if you send it to me again through my blog.

Or you can call us on our Verizon cell phones 970-596-10689 or 970-519-1645.

Thanks again and glad you're stillo blogging.
