Val's Graveside Service

Click on the link below to watch a video of Val's graveside service at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido.

As you watch, know that her body is in God's loving care just waiting for that day when He will reach down into the Earth and lift her up into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

She is very much alive as I write these words, beloved, but on that day, her Earthly body will be raised and in a moment, in the twinkling of the eye, her Heavenly body will emerge.

Just as the caterpillar is buried in a cocoon waiting for metamorphosis into a butterfly, so Valerie's body waits for that day.

As I sit and watch Val's graveside memorial I am so touched by the love of her family and friends.

The doves, rain and beautiful rainbow that appeared that afternoon was so fitting for such a beautiful woman.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Val. I miss and love her so much!

I love this picture of Val and Ryan. It depicts the love Val has for Ryan. He looks so much like Val - I see so much of her in him.

As Deanna said, the rainbow and the doves were so fitting for Val. Deanna shared a special day with Val when a rainbow appeared...they were such good friends for a very long time.

Thank you for sharing the site with all of us.

Val was so beautiful on the outside but more importantly on the inside. She had such a gigantic heart. She was always there for me and all of her friends. She would always bring sunshine to a rainy day.

I miss my friend,

Marianne

The releasing of the doves was so beautiful and emotional. The rainbow was Val's way of saying she was there. Always look for signs of her presence and you will find them!

Hi Chris,
It was good to chat with you and hear about your weekend getaway with the boys! I am happy they had fun. I am sorry it was hard for you! I am sure it will get easier as time passes! If you or the boys need anything, let us know!
Now, put some pictures of the boys behind the boat up on this site!
