Jeff's Tribute To Val

Sorry I have been so long in publishing some video clips of Val's memorial service. It took a while to come up the learning curve of movie publishing. Over the next few days, I will publish the tributes to Val from Char, Mary Anne, and myself.

Today I wanted to publish Jeff's tribute. He is a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Air Force and is leaving on June 5th to serve as a Squadron Commander in Korea for one year. He was also with Val when she left our world for her true home.

Much luck and happiness Jeff to you and your family while in Korea! We appreciate your service, committment, and sacrifice for our country! Val spoke of your family often! She was so very concerned about your daughter last year and had us all praying while she was in the hospital! It was fun to meet her while you were out for Spring Break! You did a great job at the service! I know from heaven she was smiling down on you and looking forward to the day you will run together again! Until then...keep yourself safe while serving our nation!

Jeff,

I am so proud of you to be serving our country to keep us safe. Val often spoke of you and your family with such admiration. She was always telling me how brave you were and what a great father you were. As her oldest brother she looked up to you. She was so proud of all that you accomplished. When your daughter was in the hospital and going through a very scarey time Val and I spoke often and we prayed for your daughter to survive the delicate surgery she was undergoing. It really was neat to meet your daughter and see her doing so well.

Good luck in Korea and God Bless!

Jeff and family,

Today is your departure day. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be throughout this long year you are away. I'm proud of you, Jeff. You've sure come a very long way from the days we would ditch high school and head West to the beach, stopping for taco's at the Taco Shack or yogurt or donuts!

Stay strong in the Lord. He will give you peace during this time of mourning Val as well as this time away from your wife and kids.

Love,
Christina
