Always in our Heart

Escondido, California. April 15th, 2012. God has been faithful in our lives beloved since our post one year ago.
Julie is running a half marathon in San Luis Obispo next weekend. This is in honor of her sister Valerie, and to raise funds for the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. Thanks to all who have supported her financially.
Valerie and Chris' sons Ryan, Gavin, and Tyler are thriving as they grow too fast toward teenagers. Chris met Jennifer Haroldson on the football field. She has been a great blessing and stabilizing force in their lives. We appreciate her so much!
Chris, Jen, and the boys are at the river this weekend. Jen's three children are there also.
We said goodbye to our San Luis Obispo group last night after a rain soaked few days camping at San Elijo State Beach. Chad, Julie, Kyle, Julianne, Nate, and Brady. It makes me tired just writing their names!
Jeff was recently promoted to full Colonel in the Air Force. He and Jan and their kids, well not really kids anymore, Josh in college, Jessica graduating high school, Jared, Justus, and Jackson live in Wichita Falls, Texas. They are coming in June for a wedding and for hangtime at the beach.
Paul lives in Temecula. We work together at Genentech which has always been a great blessing. He has been dating a girl we all have come to love, Lindsay Wilson.
Beloved, eye has not seen nor has ear heard what our God has in store for those who love Him, who wait for Him, who serve Him and who obey Him. God expects us all to do what we can.
In World War II, Jimmie Stewart (the actor) was a B17 pilot. After returning to base in England, he found that a 20 mm shell had lodged in the fuel tank. They took it apart and found that a note from a Czech worker in a German munitions plant had prevented the shell from exploding. "This is all that I can do for now", said the note.
Do what you can for now, beloved.
Godspeed.
