Sat. June 10th

Most of you that know me and see me everyday will not by it when I say, I have been feeling fine these last few days. I am a good faker, as you all know. From the procedure, I got pancreatitis, which is imflamation of the pancreas. Great hugh? It has not been fun to say the least. It is supossed to go away by itself, so hopefully today I will turn the corner. I go to USC next week for a scan and with those results we will either stay on the current drugs or if my platlet count has come up, may switch me back to the drugs I was on before. My doctors concern is "why did the tumor press on the ducts if shrinksge was occuring?". I will find out next week. Thanks for all the prayers. I have my faithful prayer team. I appreciate all of you. God is with me always and is using this for his greater plan. I have seen it with my own eyes this week.
It is all part of his healing plan for me.

Ryan graduated from Kindergarden last night. It was sooooo cute. Next week Gavin graduates from Pre-school and summer here we come. We are going to a bible camp at Valley Christian School for a week, a soccer camp for the boys who start soccer in the fall and the rest of the time sleep in.

Have a good weekend!
Luv,
Val

My dear Val;

You are so awesome, I have no words to describe your strength, persistance and faith.. and yes, you are a very good faker. You don't have to be though.. although I know you want to sound positive all the time, and I love that about you too. You are definetely a "the cup is half full kind of gal!" But, we that are close to you want you to tell us when you are hurting, we want to carry the burden with you... We want to cry out to our Father for our sister, we want to cry with you and even more so laugh with you on the good days! And one of these days our laughing will not cease, our cheers will be so loud and our tears will be all happy tears... and our praises will be so excuberant that all will know that He has healed you and all glory will be given to Him!!! I can't wait for that day... in the meantime we are here for you, to share in everything, good or bad. And you are right, that Kindergarten graduiation was THE CUTEST thing ever!!

Love ya tons,
Your sister in Christ, Osil

Val,

You are so strong and I know that you have as extremely high tolerence to pain. It is ok to let us know that you are hurting or having a bad day. As Osil so elequently stated, "let us help carry your burden". We all want to help Val. If you fall down we want to help you get up. That's what friends are for. You have a lot of friends that love you and want to help you. You don't always have to wear a brave face. We kmow that you are scared, but we know that you are going to beat this. With the help of your friends and family praying for you and loving you, you will get through this time.

I love this song:

Be not afraid I go before you always,
Come follow me and I will give you strength.

You are never far from my thoughts and prayers.

You are blessed with such a loving and beautiful family. I am glad that you were able to feel better to watch Ryan have his graduation from kindergarden. I can only imagine how cute he was.

It will be fun to have them all around this summer. Those boys of yours are just way to cute for their own good. I have a picture of the boys in a pretty frame in my house. Mark asked me the other day if the picture came with the frame. I laughed and said no they are not models (although they should be!). He couldn't get over how beautiful they all were.

I miss you girl!

Love,

Marianne

Val-

My precious friend, you're so inspirational to others and God continues to show those around you what your love for Him can endure.

I want you to know how much I love you. I pray for you and everyone that is connected with your journey, and I'm confident God's timing is perfect. He loves you and will protect you always.

I know these last few days have been hard and I pray that our Lord will continue to heal your body.

Val, I'm here for you always, whether it's good times or bad.
You're never alone, with God by your side and so many others who love and support you.

Our friendship is my treasure!

Deanna

Val, your spirit is so great! This summer is going to be great for you and the boys. Sleep and play with your family. Everything your doing is working and time will show you all your efforts. God speaks to me all the time my friend and this will be a journey for all of us that know and love you. Every step of the way you are followed by hearts of gold praying that you heal quickly and stay healthy for years to come, all of that is the back splash of this beautiful painting. You chose the right medium to paint this picture and you will be rewarded. Love to You Val! VP

Dear Val...

I loved seeing you at church this morning...as always you looked beautiful!!!

I agree with everything all of your friends have said about you. You are the most positive person I know!!! Your smile and attitude is radiant and contagious...and that is just one of the things I, we, love about you! You are also one of the most inspiring people I have run into in my life. You have inspired me since the day I met and continue to do so on a daily basis. You will never know how much you have impacted my life. When I first met you, my faith had been crushed to almost nothing. And without you even knowing it, you picked me up and started me on a journey back to the greatest and strongest faith I have ever had...and it's back Val!!! Sooooooo...knowing that, know, just like all the other girls have said, we WANT to know when you are hurting...we want to know when you are struggling...we want to pray with you and cry with you and then laugh with you!!! On good days and not so good days...we are here no matter what! And we will ALL be there in that "winner's circle" with you in His time!

Our prayers remain constant...

We love you!
Kerry Randall
